Victor is our youngest burn patient treated to date (pictured far left), being only 6 weeks old when he was accidentally dropped into a cooking fire. Now at age 4 and after many years of surgeries to reconstruct his badly burned feet and legs, Victor is walking well and has maintained his bright and happy spirit! Thank you to all the donors that continue to inquire and designate funds towards his frequent surgeries to keep him walking!
Burn injuries are devastating and can cause lifelong suffering and disability without proper treatment. The Africa Burn Relief Program is dedicated to providing specialized medical care for burn victims in rural Africa who have little or no access to adequate services. Our volunteers provide resources, skills training,
and mentorship to local health care providers to create sustainable burn treatment and prevention models to elevate the standard of care.
